FLASH YOUR STYLE

This week, nothing was trending more than Lahore Music Meet, a two day festival in Lahore that waxed lyrical on all things musical. Lahore is the cultural hub of the country and it was heartening to see the country’s musicians come together to talk about making music. There was harmony between the established rock stars like Ali Azmat and young superheroes like Abid Brohi who have created super sounds with Patari Tabeer. Amidst all these musical notes was some serious injection of style and this being the style segment, we picked out our favourite looks that may inspire girls who are more rock star than Barbie doll.

Meesha Shafi

Meesha Shafi is indisputably the most stylish musician in the country and we love that she has no qualms in accepting fashion as her brand. She turned up at LMM in casual and yet hip attire. Meesha’s sporty look gave everyone fitness goals and while her boots remind us of prosthetic aids, they do manage to take her quirkiness as notch up.

Zeb Bangash

Does it even matter what Zeb Bangash wears? Ever? No, it doesn’t because when you have a voice so strong and a personality so gentle, what you wear is just clothes. That said we did enjoy Zeb’s chance encounter with an all-black Goth look. The smile gives her away though.

Anoushey Ashraf

Anoushey wears many feathers in her perky cap but these days we love her as one of morning TV’s most balanced and lovable hosts. Anoushey played it safe with her denim and floral jacket (we noticed how her orange wedges have been matchy matched) but she looked as fresh as a flower and carried her signature sweetness.

Sara Haider

Strong and emancipated is the look Sara Haider wears and though her wardrobe choices are not always on point, we absolutely love the way she has paired her all black outfit with androgynous Peshawri chappals. It’s a gender bender that we wholeheartedly approve of.
