The red carpet is usually the best place to catch all the action in terms of fashion. Either the stars are dressed to impress or they’re wearing something we need to stay many miles away from. Instep catches up with what our favourite fashionistas have been up to at the red carpet this week.

Sadaf Kanwal

The model turned actress has mostly been getting it right in terms of red carpet fashion during the promotional tour for her debut film Balu Mahi, but it was this chic white look at the Karachi premiere of the film that really made us turn our heads. Designed by Mohsin Ali Tawasul for Sana Safinaz, Sadaf Kanwal’s off shoulder top was frilled to perfection and paired with flared pants that every fashionista would love to own.

Mansha Pasha

Mansha Pasha has a busy year ahead of her as she gears up for the release of her cinematic debut Chalay Thay Saath, which also features Syra Sheroz and Zhalay Sarhadi. This is why now is the perfect time for the actress to be making appropriate sartorial decisions. Dressed in a Shehla Chatoor ensemble, Pasha hosted the Pond’s Miracle Journey Gala red carpet with grace, making us look forward to her red carpet looks for her own film promotions later this year.

Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone has the body to pull of any look and sometimes we find her wearing clothes which make us wonder why she would choose them when she could literally wear anything in the world. Thankfully, Padukone’s look at the Michael Kors show at New York Fashion Week made us say ‘Finally!’ as she looked drop dead gorgeous as well as glamourous in a simple navy blue gabardine sleeveless coat, paired with a white blouse.

Emily Blunt

Emily Blunt has been everyone’s favourite since Devil Wears Prada, and she stayed true to her unconventional style at the BAFTA red carpet. Blunt wore a black Alexander McQueen dress with Sophia Webster heels that were unfortunately hidden behind the ruffles in her skirt.  The medieval-inspired embroidered body paired with a contemporary ruffle skirt is the perfect amalgamation between the old and new.
