When it came to style and fashion, there was one rather ‘pink’ red carpet that stood out as our cache of the week. While the grand finale of Miss Veet Pakistan fell short of achieving its true potential, thankfully our fashionable celebrities made sure to bring their A-game to the event. Whether it was Mawra Hocane who trail blazed her way to the stage, or Hira Tareen who looked effortlessly chic, the pink carpet provided ample opportunities to heat up what was an otherwise chilly winter evening!
Hira Tareen is one of those down to earth models who have a true diva’s sense of style. She was seen braving the chilly Karachi breeze in a black and gold sequined peplum top designed by Adnan Pardesy, adding further drama to her look with flared black pants by her own label, Icon. While she looks effortlessly chic, and was extremely approachable in terms of taking pictures and talking to her fans, we can’t help but be envious of the fact that she has her own fashionable clothing label that works as her personal wardrobe sometimes.

Ali Noor and Ali Hamza
Who doesn’t love hot musicians on the red carpet? Ali Noor and Ali Hamza have often been criticized for keeping it too casual at these fancy events but we are glad that the Noori brothers have found their own fashion statement: jeans and t-shirts with the addition of jackets courtesy Karachi’s unpredictable weather. We hated the fact that Noor and Hamza were barely included in the show but loved meeting up with them during the course of the evening, even if it was just for a few minutes.
If it wasn’t enough that Mawra Hocane entertained the crowd on stage with a fiery performance, she continued to wow us when she joined the audience after changing into this gloriously chic ensemble. However, it’s Mawra’s bubbly personality that is her most prized accessory and style statement. She went on stage to crown the Miss Veet winner and made us all warm and fuzzy with her million dollar smile that has the power to melt even the iciest of hearts.
