The red carpet is such a fun place to follow our favourite celebrities and see what they’ll be wearing. Whether it’s Priyanka Chopra, who’s trailblazing her way through Hollywood and being noticed everywhere she goes, or Emma Stone choosing the most memorable look for the year she took home the Oscar, celebrities and their red carpet looks are worth studying on their own. While we’re only three months deep in 2017, we’ve already seen so many star studded red carpets that it’s time we did a round up!

Janelle Monae

BS_Janelle-Monae_2It has been a very good year for Janelle Monae, having been a part of two Oscar favourite films this year: Moonlight and Hidden Figures. So naturally, the actress wanted to make a memorable appearance at the Oscar’s red carpet. Monae stepped on to the red carpet looking like a queen: she dressed her pixie cut with an elegant gold headband and dressed up her face beautifully. Her skin looked flawless and we can’t wait to get our hands on a similar nude lip gloss.

Olivia Culpo

BS_Olivia-Culpo_3The highly anticipated 89th Academy Awards did not disappoint and gave us a chance to see all our favourite celebs looking their best. Out of all the beauty looks seen on the red carpet, it was Olivia Culpo’s lavender eyes that are definitely worth talking about. Makeup artist and brand ambassador for L’Oréal, Sir John smoked out Culpo’s eyes with a lavender shadow shade while hairstylist Justine Marjan gave her a deep side with slicked statement wisps. Since Culpo was wearing a glistening silver gown, the lavender eyes really stood out.

Chrissy Teigen

BS_Chrissy-Teigen_4Chrissy Teigen always gets it right in terms of beauty looks but her hooded eyes looked even more spectacular at the Oscars this year. “Right when I saw the white dress, I immediately thought: soft, sexy, bronze and nude colors, but with more of a golden undertone, in honor of the Oscars of course,” explained her makeup artist Mary Phillips, who prepped Teigen’s skin with a slew of La Mer elixirs. Hairstylist Jen Atkin blow-dried strands with Dyson’s Supersonic Hair Dryer and added Beauty Works hair extensions to add fullness to her chignon.

Priyanka Chopra

BS_-Priyanka-Chopra_5Priyanka Chopra is in the headlines all the time nowadays. Whether it’s her front row presence at the New York Fashion Week, or her steamy teaser for her upcoming film, Baywatch, Chopra is on a roll. We’ve also noticed that Chopra has been rocking some pretty bold lip colours at most of her public appearances but this deep plum worn at the Golden Globes red carpet really caught everyone’s attention. The Bollywood star complemented the dark lips with a soft champagne eye shadow that matched her gold outfit. She styled her hair with a centre parting with soft, boho waves. Chopra’s makeup was done by celebrity makeup artist Stephanie Brooke Barnes for Laura Mercier.

Jennifer Lopez

BS_J-Lo_6J.Lo’s Grammys beauty looks are always memorable and her appearance on the 2017 red carpet was no different. According to Instyle.com, Makeup artist Mary Phillips perfectly matched the singer’s lavender gown with three shades of L’Oréal Paris Infallible 24HR Eyeshadow — Burst Into Bloom, Always Pearly Pink, Endless Pearl —before applying eyeliner and mascara. She finished off the look with lots of lashes and a glossy nude lip. J.Lo’s natural glow and long sleek locks make up for a perfect red carpet appearance.
